Privacy Policy for Disc Golf Putting Tracker

Disc Golf Putting Tracker is a disc golf putting practice app for the web and iOS. It is operated by a solo developer. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is meant to be short and practical.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create or sign in to an account, we store identifiers needed to run the service, such as username, email address (when provided), display name, and a password hash (if you use a password). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an account identifier from that provider and may receive your name and email when the provider shares them.

Practice and app data. We store the practice and game data you save while signed in (for example putts, sessions, games, preferences, and similar progress) so it can sync across devices and power stats and history.

Support / tips. If you send a tip or become a supporter, payment is processed by Stripe. We may store records needed to recognize your support (for example Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, amounts, and status). We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data.

On-device (guest) data. On the iOS app, you can practice Free Putt without signing in. Those sets can be stored on your device. If you later sign in, you may be offered the choice to add that on-device practice to your account. Until you do, that guest data stays on the device.

Technical data. We use session cookies (or equivalent) to keep you signed in and to protect forms (for example CSRF). Server logs may include standard technical information such as IP address and request metadata for security and reliability.

Diagnostics. We may store client crash and error reports from the app (including stack traces and the page path) on our servers, linked to your account when you are signed in, to find and fix bugs and improve stability. For the iOS app we may also use Apple’s crash reporting tools when users share analytics with developers, and any crash-reporting tools we add later. We do not use this data for advertising.

What we do not do

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and improve Disc Golf Putting Tracker: authentication, syncing and showing your practice history, preferences, optional supporter recognition, security, diagnosing crashes and stability issues, and customer support when you email us.

Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate the service:

We do not sell your information to data brokers.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and practice data while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account). That permanently removes your account and associated practice data we store on our servers, subject to short-term backups and legal requirements. On-device guest data is removed when you clear it on the device, claim it into an account, or uninstall/clear app storage, depending on the platform.

Children

Disc Golf Putting Tracker is a general-audience practice tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
